Scheduling and Distribution in Publish Pro
There are multiple ways that you can build and distribute publications from Publish Pro. You can build your publications manually using F2 or the Run button; schedule a build either at regular intervals, when your model is reprocessed, or once; and "subscribe to" your publication to receive re-builds. (Note: You can also set up details of users and channels that you want to distribute your publications to.)
Note: Access to different Publish scheduling and distribution functionality is controlled by licensing:
Distributing Publications
Direct Publishing
Direct publishing is simply a manual print of the document. It is the action performed on Run (F2) that produces one report at a time (one output document) for each slice combination. This is typically the action that you perform to check your output document is as you expect it to be.
If you manually print an inline email template, it will render the underlying HTML document.

Scheduled Publishing
Scheduled publishing is where you create a schedule to automatically run the publication once, at regular intervals, or whenever the model is reprocessed (on demand). Scheduled publishing allows you to select multiple slices and produce multiple documents or inline emails. It also allows you to select a method of distribution, to share your output publications with others.

Note: Scheduled publications are only possible with Pyramid Enterprise.
Subscribe to Publications
As well as scheduling publications, you can also subscribe to publications that you are interested in. In effect, this creates a single, repeated print of a publication for a given data selection (if there are slicers), in a chosen format, for the requesting user.
